Priorities are the personal goals you set during onboarding — things like “Track my hiring pipeline” or “Chase overdue invoices”. Each one is tagged with a preference:

View

You want to see the data. Clicking runs a dashboard.

Act

You want automation. Clicking opens the Flow editor with the priority text prefilled as the description.

Both

See and act. Dashboard first, then Xura offers to save it as a Flow.

Where priorities appear

  • Home page — Top 3 priorities as cards under the composer.
  • Settings → Profile — the full list, editable.
  • Signals research — biases what counts as a notable signal.

Editing

Settings → Profile → Priorities. Reorder, edit text, change preferences, remove.

What happens on click

Depending on the preference:

View → dashboard

Runs the priority text through the composer as a dashboard query. Standard flow.

Act → new flow

Navigates to ?poc=studio&tab=flows&flow=new with name + description prefilled from the priority. You review, tune the description, click Plan from description. Prerequisite: you need data connected. If none is set up (no HubSpot, no uploaded files), you get bounced to AI Studio → Data Sources with a banner explaining why.

Both → dashboard + CTA

Runs the dashboard. When it renders, an amber CTA appears below: “Automate this? Turn ‘<priority text>’ into a Flow you can re-run or schedule.” Click Save as Flow to go through the same prefill handshake as Act. Dismissal is remembered per-priority (localStorage) so re-clicking the same priority won’t nag again.

Best practice

Write priorities as actionable statements, not topics: Good:
  • “Chase deals stuck in Negotiation >14 days”
  • “Alert me when any project milestone slips 3+ days”
Less good:
  • “Sales pipeline”
  • “Project tracking”
Actionable priorities plan into better Flows.
